How to Manage a Digital Marketing Agency
Paid Search Agency
If you're not itching to spend more on paid search, your strategy is lacking.
You need to show up in the right place, to the right people, at the right time. Paid search is arguably the fastest way to drive meaningful results (a little bias here—we started as a paid search agency back in 2014). When done right, it’s the fast track to reaching your customers that are ready to buy. You honestly can’t sleep on paid search.
Success Story
Marathon Sports grows to the max with Austen's consolidation on PMax campaigns. 🌲
"I love helping brands enact simple changes that drive long-term growth and this was one of the simplest changes I've ever made, that drove real impact not only on the Google Ads account itself, but their in-store sales."
- For this month, consolidation of 3-4 underperforming PMax campaigns. They wanted to break it out for CO-OP spend, and once a campaign starts getting under 30-50 monthly conversions, it loses that effectiveness.
- Last year, they had over 15-20 PMax/Shopping campaigns going at one time (in October), so we consolidated, and the performance immediately increased.
- In a period when many clients are struggling, they are not! They're on pace to have their highest ROAS this year alongside their most revenue for the past few years, and this is with us taking branded out of the equation, which used to be at least 20% of their monthly revenue.
Why do I need a paid search agency?
Simply put, agencies are effective because it’s almost always ideal to have more eyes and collective experience on an account. It takes more time and effort for you to manage it in-house than an agency who focuses on these channels exclusively. We’ll give you peace of mind knowing that through us, you’re driving as much revenue to your business as possible. We keep up with the always changing platforms, and we understand how each lever can affect performance and we have access to the newest features keeping you ahead of your competitors.

We deliver results, not empty promises.
Our clients vouch for us. We're proud of the work we do, and we're even more proud of the relationships we've built along the way. Our company is awesome because our clients are awesome and we've got the proof to back it up.
"Digital Position is an excellent extention of our team. We have worked with them for about a year to scale our business at a profitable level, and have accomplished that time and time again. Unlike many partners, they are always proactive to meet our needs and address any concerns. I highly recommend the Digital Position team!"

FAQs
- Drives the bottom of the funnel strategy. Paid search captures the majority of people ready to buy, which is why you absolutely must have a strong strategy. These customers require the least amount of effort to convert!
- Sets up strong campaign structures and keyword targeting. The goal is to drive the most high-intent, ready-to-buy traffic. Your foundation has to be strong to support everything that comes after.
- Consistently communicates. Paid search management requires a rock-solid strategy combined with constant tweaking and monitoring—this makes regular communication a must. To maintain a competitive rhythm, everyone has to be on the same page.
- Constant optimization. Just changing bids and budgets won’t do it for 90% of brands, and if it does, you’re probably still leaving money on the table. Paid search is not “set it and forget it”. You need to adjust based on the data coming in.
At the end of the day, you could! But here’s the thing—
- The platforms change literally every day. Staying on top of those changes is a full-time job in and of itself.
- To drive great results, you have to be optimizing all the time. Letting an account sit for even two weeks with minimal changes is just asking for poor performance.
- Best practices are what they are for a reason. Knowing what they are and when to use them can literally be the difference between a 1x ROAS and a 4x ROAS.
- Strategy needs to change more often than you think in order to beat your next goal. At times, even for us seasoned professionals with decades of experience, it’s hard. For someone with less experience, it’ll be important to prepare yourself for hitting patches of “impossibility”.
